What positive events have taken place in your life over the past year?

Reflecting on the positive events in my life over the past year brings forth a sense of accomplishment and growth. Notably, I successfully navigated a year without experiencing a mental breakdown, marking a significant milestone in overcoming various traumas.

One standout moment in self-care was trusting my instincts when I sensed something was off in a relationship. Taking decisive action, I blocked the person and moved forward, a triumph in prioritizing my well-being.

I deliberately carved out time for lunches with my female cousins, recognizing the importance of surrounding myself with a supportive circle of empowering women. This intentional choice added a positive dimension to my social life.

In tune with my body’s signals, I embraced a shift in my approach to fitness. Understanding that my body required gentler activities rather than intense cardio, I listened attentively to its needs.

Letting go of the relentless hustle for success was a conscious decision. The pressure to conform to a predefined timeline became exhausting, prompting me to choose between perpetuating my fatigue or accepting my present state. Opting for the latter, I aimed to be more present in the moment.

A significant emotional release occurred as I relinquished resentment toward past grievances. This act of forgiveness freed up mental space and contributed to a more positive and forward-looking mindset. Overall, the past year has been marked by transformative choices and a commitment to self-care.
